As part of the strategy to ensure transparency and reduce corruption risks, KazTransGas Aimak JSC presented innovative and effective measures aimed at ensuring transparent pricing for residential gasification services. The main tool in this direction is the Marketplace market.ktga.kz created by the company for the interaction of construction and installation organizations and potential consumers.
In addition, in early October 2023, the Company launched a service for submitting applications for technical specifications on the eGov e-government portal.kz, which greatly simplifies the process of interacting with customers and promotes transparency in the provision of technical specifications that can be obtained through an online service without leaving home.
KazTransGas Aimak JSC also undertakes a wide range of measures to prevent and minimize the risks of corruption offenses. The Company emphasizes its commitment to fight corruption in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption”.
An important part of the comprehensive anti-corruption program is the Anti-Corruption Policy of KazTransGas Aimak JSC. When interacting with contractors, the Company pays attention to their conscientious and ethical behavior, as well as their willingness to comply with the principles of the Policy.
The Compliance Service established in the Company is responsible for monitoring the implementation of anti-corruption measures. This service evaluates corruption risks in the Company and ensures compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Also, as part of the ongoing anti-corruption strategy in 2023, KazTransGas Aimak JSC decided to create a new Corporate Security Department. The purpose of the Department is to strengthen the control system and ensure an integrated approach to security issues and the prevention of corruption within the Company. The Corporate Security Department will actively cooperate with the existing Compliance Service to ensure full compliance of the Company with the regulations and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of combating corruption.
In order to form an anti-corruption culture, conferences, trainings and presentations are held on an ongoing basis both in the Central Office and in the production branches and gas farms of KazTransGas Aimak JSC with the participation of employees of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption, during which reforms and innovations in this area are discussed and key legal acts are explained.
KazTransGas Aimak JSC does not lose vigilance even in difficult situations. In November 2023, when a corruption offense was revealed in the Zhezkazgan gas sector, the Company actively cooperated with law enforcement agencies, providing all necessary information and assisting in the investigation.
At the moment, KazTransGas Aimak JSC provides the company with the opportunity to anonymously report corruption through a Single contact center and a hotline at the short number 5169. The Company is also actively present on social networks, providing residents with a platform for reporting and complaining about corruption.
