QazaqGaz and Pietro Fiorentini signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the official visit of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Italy.

This important partnership is aimed at creating a solid foundation for cooperation between companies in order to strengthen bilateral relations between Italy and Kazakhstan.

Paolo Nardi, Chief Executive Officer of Pietro Fiorentini, signed the document on behalf of the Italian company, and Bauyrzhan Askarov, Chairman of the Management Board of KazTransGas Aimak JSC, on behalf of the Kazakh side.

The main points of the agreement include the creation of a mechanism for the exchange of information, experience and technology transfer between the parties to ensure mutual development and implementation of joint projects, including a project to install gas meters with a data transmission function, in order to develop and implement innovative solutions in the field of gas distribution. 

In addition, joint training courses in the field of modern gas equipment are planned.

This partnership agreement is a step that underlines the importance of the Italian-Kazakh partnership in the development of modern gas infrastructure.
