JSC “KazTransGaz Aimak” is Kazakhstani company that provides services for transportation and sale of natural gas to consumers. Services involve with a risk of exposure to hazardous and harmful factors on the health of employees.

In order to reduce the risk of exposure to hazardous and harmful factors on the health of employees and stakeholders, improving the provision of services, the Company undertakes the following obligations:

  • Continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of management system for occupational health and safety in accordance with the requirements of international standards OHSAS 18001:2007 applied to the transportation and sale of natural gas in the domestic market;
  • Ensure compliance of management system for occupational health and safety by legislative, regulatory requirements, also requirements of stakeholders;
  • Ensure mutually beneficial cooperation and information content on occupational health and safety at work with all interested parties;
  • Reduce the risks in occupational health and safety, and prevent injuries and deterioration of health of employees;
  • Achieve high performance in management of occupational health and safety;
  • Apply the methods of control and adoption of effective, corrective and preventive actions;

Management undertakes to implement real policy and obligations that are declared in it by:

  • Allocate and provide the necessary resources in accordance with the budget of the company;
  • Involvement of all employees in design and analysis of policy and procedures in the sphere of occupational health and safety;
  • Reduce or eliminate the sources of hazardous and harmful factors at production, by replacing the materials, technological processes, equipment modernization, automation of production processes, rational use of working time and labor regulation;
  • Conduct regular monitoring of key performance indicators for occupational health and safety by the result of permanent commissions of PB and CO for occupational safety and evaluating compliance with its obligations by conducting internal audits ISM;
  • Take corrective and preventive actions in case of inconsistencies of occupational health and safety;
  • Application and development of procedures and incentives for the development of professionalism, enhance the competence and personal responsibility of employees for compliance with the occupational health and safety;
  • Involvement of all employees of the company in risk management in the sphere of occupational health and safety.
